Frequently Asked Questions

How do I prepare a shipment of currency to Evergreen Armored?

All notes must be counted and verified for authenticity before depositing, strapped or rubber banded, and sealed in a tamper-evident bag. The bag must include the Financial Institution and branch name, the declared amount, the date, and the initials of who verified.

How do I prepare a shipment of coin to Evergreen Armored?

If your Financial Institution has coin bins, the bin must be sealed with a tamper-evident seal and include the printed receipt from the machine.

If your Financial Institution has bagged coin, the bag must be a full bag, with the branch location on the bag.

I was notified that my branch sent a counterfeit note in their shipment, what happens to that shipment and note?

Evergreen Armored will verify the legitimacy of the note, and if we believe it to be suspicious, we will mark the deposit as short, and send the note to the Counterfeit Currency Processing Facility for final verification. If the note comes back as legitimate, they will send the note back and it will be deposited. If they deem the note as counterfeit, they will destroy the note.

Can you supply tamper-evident bags or seals?

Evergreen Armored can supply tamper-evident bags or seals if it is included in your contract.

Do you change ATM receipt paper?

Yes! Our Armored Service Technicians are trained in minor first-line maintenance, including ATM jam removal, and ATM receipt paper change.
